Obesity and Related Obesity Diseases


Obesity are common place today. And it is becoming apparent what that cost is to the community.In simple terms the human body was not made to carry that much weight as subsequently it is now being required to work overtime to carry that weight and also to deal with the type and quantity of foods that you are consuming.

Here are some of the problems that are likely to occur as a result of obesity:

Heart disease

Diabetes.

Stroke and Cholesterol

Skeletal problems

Psychological

Obesity and Heart Disease;

Your heart has to work extra hard to pump all of that extra blood around your body, and the arteries veins and vessals that carry that blood are restricted by the extra fat content.  As a result the likelyhood of  heart disease is very high.

Obesity and Diabetes;

Type 2 diabetes is on the rise in a parrallel with obesity. And it is a serious problem. This disease means that there is not enough insulin being produced, the end result is that your body has difficulty processing sugar. Another reference is glucose intolerance.

Diseaeses are common amongst Diabetes sufferers in these areas;

eyes

kidney’s

nerve’s and

heart problems.

Obesity and Cholesterol;

If you are in the obese category you are also most likely to have high choleserol, which places you at risk of stroke.

Obesity and Skeletal problems;

The extra weight that your body must carry causes stress on many areas of your spine, here is a short list of the most common problems:

Osteoarthritis

Hernias.

Back problems.

 

Obesity and Psychological disorders;

In addition there are most likely to be some form of eating disorder.

Obesity diseases are here to stay until such time as our society makes a cultural shift toward creating truly healthy eating and exercise habits.
